ProGayJobs.com was founded and conceived to expand (in the Global Marketplace) the efforts of BACH Personnel, an agency that has promoted the talents of the Gay and Lesbian community for nearly ten years. This effort is based on the success of BACH Personnel’s efforts to further the principles of fairness, diversity, and equal rights in the workplace.

No other private company has the experience and longevity in serving the Gay and Lesbian community in this area. David M. Bach, CEO and founder of Bach Personnel first began offering employment placement services in March 1991, at his then - Castro Street address in San Francisco. At that time there were very few companies open to the now more accepted Diversity and Domestic Partner Benefits Programs of today. David Bach was an active participant in the 3rd Annual Lesbian & Gay Workplace Issues Conference Steering Committee held at Stanford University. He has been involved with numerous groups and organizations to foster the inclusion of sexual orientation in the equal opportunity agenda. Although the experience and accomplishments of BACH Personnel are vast, the focus has been primarily within the San Francisco area. ProGayJobs.com is offered to companies nationally and internationally that share the principles of diversity and fairness in the workplace, and will offer our service and experience to all members of the Gay and Lesbian community.
